Each message spends roughly the tokens it uses, the text you write counts for less than NOLO's answer (and on Pro the answer is cheaper too). Tools add a fixed surcharge: a web search +16,000, an image +9,000 (or +21,000 at the Detailed level).

Long answers finish even if you close NOLO, and are waiting for you when you come back. While one is being written, that chat is held on Cloudflare and erased as soon as your device has it (12 hours at most). Turn this off to keep every answer inside this device only — if you leave, it is lost. Always off in incognito.

Ask for a password each time NOLO opens, so someone with your unlocked phone cannot read your chats. This is a lock, not encryption: your chats stay unencrypted on this device.
